Those of you who have anticipated being one of the owner of the Newly launched Nokia 6  can now get hold of  it on AliExpress. 

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 430 chipset is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 505 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage. A 16MP rear-facing camera comes with an f/2.0 aperture, and the 8MP front-facing camera shoots selfies and handles video chats. Keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh battery, and Android 7.0 is pre-installed.

Remember that this same Nokia 6 was sold out in China within 1 minute which makes it one of the hottest smartphone of 2017. It goes for $328.88  (N103,720) on AliExpress.

Nokia 6 actually gave a lot of fans in China today goosebumps, it went on on flash sales today and as was expected, it was sold out in just one minute. I’m guessing Nokia 6 will be one of the hottest selling mobile phone of 2017 because right now, over 130 million people have already registered showing their intention to have in possession Nokia 6 which cost about $245.

As we hinted earlier, the configuration of this monster device Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. MTN Urge NG Government to Ban WhatsApp Messenger

Now MTN boss is suggesting that the federal government should take  action against WhatsApp because its affecting their services. In order words, ban whatsapp in Nigeria.

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of MTN Nigeria, Mr. Ferdinand Moolman,  disclosed that the activities of ‘over-the-top’ companies like WhatsApp, Viber have adverse effects on its business and affects the sustainability of Nigeria’s telecommunications industry.

… the MTN boss pointed out that these companies were eroding gains of Nigeria’s telecom companies and asked Nigeria to take action like the United Arab Emirates did.

WhatsApp Extend Support For BB Devices Till June 2017 Before Final Shut Down

Don’t celebrate too much yet😂😁😂, Some networks are already giving up on Blackberry OS devices and even customers has giving up on BB devices but WhatsApp seems to woke up on the right side of the bed, hence prolong supports for WhatsApp for Blackberry till June 2017.

 

 

WhatsApp announced back in February that it will no longer support its application by the end of 2016 on some older mobile platforms which includes BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Android 2.1 and Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7, as well as iPhone 3GS/iOS 6.

However, WhatsApp changed their mind and announced again via a blog post to extend support for the following platforms until June 30, 2017: BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Nokia Symbian S60.

As announced in our blog, we will soon be ending support for certain devices. On June 30, 2017, we will no longer support the following platforms: BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60.

Whatever might have prompted WhatsApp to extends their supports… the most important thing is for your to upgrade your device before that period.

WhatsApp Video Calling is Now Official, Upgrade Your WhatsApp to Enjoy it

We’ve waited for it for a very long time and now we have it available on all platform. WhatsApp officially announced the roll out of video calling features to all WhatsApp users.

The video calling features was released for beta testers some weeks ago and now it is available for every one to use. 

WhatsApp announced this earlier on their blog … "We’re introducing this feature because we know that sometimes voice and text just aren’t enough. There’s no substitute for watching your grandchild take her first steps, or seeing your daughter’s face while she’s studying abroad."

Some of WhatsApp's rivals have had video calling for a while now -- Viber, Hangouts, and Facebook Messenger have had that for a while now. It's good to see WhatsApp joining the party!
