How to make glo 2gb for 1000 work on Android devices

The glo 2gb plan sold for 1000 naira works perfectly fine on BlackBerry 10 devices but not on Android. We need to find a way to make it work on Android phones and sure we have done that!

In this post, I'll give you the necessary steps / tutorials to make the glo BlackBerry plan work on your Android phone through Imei changing.

We'll get it working on 2 Stages.

STAGE 1: Subscribe to the plan and test it on BB.

first of all, subscribe to the plan with the procedure above with the sim card in a BlackBerry device. Dial the code and when you get it, use it to surf a little on the BB phone.

Then get your Android phone and make sure it's rooted.
if you don't know how to root Android phones, request for the tutorial below.
Change your Android Phone's Imei to BlackBerry Imei.
if you need help with this, simply ask below!

When you are done with the above, remove the sim from your blackberry phone and insert it into your Android device.

Then proceed to set up your Android smartphone in stage 2 after which you can be able to use the glo data plan on Android!

Stage 2: PHONE SETTINGS

We need to change your phone's APN settings.

STEP 1. To change APN on Android, Goto Settings > Mobile network > Access point > Glo NG > Configure your Android’s APN as seen below…
Name: GLO NG
APN: blackberry.net
APN TYPE: default, supl

STEP 2. The glo subscription can be slow sometimes so you may want to do this "Set your preferred network to 3G only (reduces battery life) to enable a faster internet speed".

STEP 3 . Switch on your data connection to keep surfing.
You can download as you wish till you exhaust the whole 2gb.

This trick is a very good one because you don't have to rely on Psiphon or Netloop to browse on your Android phone.
