MTN Discontinues Xtracool Free Night Call Services

 

I can deny the fact that MTN Free night call really helped me when I was a student and I know it helped a lot of students too most especially when you need to engage someone in a long discussion or you are doing a girl runs you understand me na; but according to info reaching me,
MTN has discontinued its free night call services.

As pasted by MTN "Please cascade to the associates that MTN happy hour call (Free night call)  which started October 2006 has been discontinued effect tonight, as directed by NCC.
Hence, all happy hours calls will be billed from tonight.
Thank you."

Before now, users with a minimum of N100 in their airtime balance, can engage in free night calls from 12:30AM to 4:30AM but going forward, that has been discontinued. Calls within that period (happy hour) will attract normal charges. Despite the facts that NCC has lifted regulatory ban on MTN for several infraction, this is not the change users bargain for.

But if you still make use of Glo, you can opt in for glo to glo free mid night call.what do you think of them canceling the plan
